New Shoprite Promo - the more you spend, the more you save!

Make sure you pick up all those free items to qualify for more savings!  I'm not sure if this runs off your total spent after coupons OR the shelf prices of the items you purchase.  Most Shoprite promotions run off shelf prices - if anyone can confirm which way this works, please let me know.  The bottom of your receipt should have a running tally of how much you've spent.  Your savings certificates will print at the bottom of your receipts so please hold on to them!

The fine print says that it will work on Price Plus prices minus any store coupons (like Cellfire?) but BEFORE manufacturer's coupons.  Here it is:

Qualifying purchases are calculated BEFORE taxes, bottle deposits and the face value of manufacturer coupons and AFTER ShopRite store coupons, ShopRite Price Plus club deductions and any doubled or tripled value of manufacturer coupons. Percent off discounts are calculated BEFORE taxes and bottle deposits and AFTER manufacturer coupons, doubled or tripled coupons, ShopRite store coupons and ShopRite Price Plus club deductions. Program excludes prescription medications, gift certificates, gift cards, postage stamp sales, money orders, money transfers, lottery tickets, bus tickets sales, fuel and Metro passes as well as milk, cigarettes, tobacco products and alcoholic beverages or any other items prohibited by law.
